The Mott House is a symbol of visibility, love and support for the transgender community. It is part of the Equality House property and stands directly across from the Westboro Baptist Church. The house was painted the colors of the transgender flag in June 2016. It was renamed the Mott House in March 2019 to honor Kansas’ greatest transgender activist, the late Stephanie Mott.
