Ten Kids Home
Location: Port-au-Prince, Haiti
In February 2008, Planting Peace and Ten Kids, Inc. partnered to help rescue particularly vulnerable children throughout Haiti.
Although we help kids from all different backgrounds, one of our main focuses has been helping child slaves, called restaveks. In Haiti there are an estimated 300,000 child slaves and the number seems to grow every day. We are extremely blessed to say that every child we have taken in is healthy and thriving.
Ten Kids, Inc. is a non-profit organization developed to empower children around the world, beginning with the basics needs of life: food, clean water, safe shelter, medical care, and education. To learn more about Ten Kids Home please visit www.tenkids.org.
