With 15 million and counting, India has more homeless children than any country in the world, the most vulnerable of them being physically and mentally handicap. Unfortunately, an estimated 5% of these wandering children are born to malnourished mothers causing varying birth defects from blindness to disfigurement.

In response to this epidemic, Planting Peace has brought in these children and is providing them with a safe haven. In addition to receiving an education, each child will grow up in a loving environment mirroring that of a typical home setting.
