In response to the estimated 10,000 homeless children that live in Port-Au-Prince alone Planting Peace opened Hannah and Olivia’s house of Hope for the children of Haiti. The safe-haven opened in 2004 and was founded under the core belief that it is better for children to grow up in a family style environment as opposed to a program based one. Although any child can stop by and receive love, food, clothes and medicine we are currently just housing 7 beautiful children.
