What's Really Going On

At an alarming rate cigarette butts, plastic bags, diapers, batteries and so much more are being inappropriately discarded. Trash collects into streams and storm water drainage systems, flowing into local bays and oceans that create landfills larger than the state of Texas. Birds and mammals die of starvation and dehydration with bellies full of plastics; fish ingest toxins so quickly that soon they will no longer be safe to eat. The bottom line is that our planet is in peril and it's time to ACT.

The Movement

The Green It Movement provides volunteers with a ripple effect of change. Our specific goal is to locate people who are willing and able to LEAD an environmental clean up campaign in their local communities. Massive, global action is essential to combat this situation. In the United States alone, we need to have an Environmental Director in every one of the more than 43,000 zip codes.
